Goodbye and Thank You 2016

It’s been quite a hectic year for me in 2016.

My mother had to deal with several health issues and depended heavily on me to organize hospital appointments, informal care, and the likes.

We belong to the age bracket that has to take care of parents becoming needy and kids occasionally still needing help. Sounds familiar?

To be able to manage with the stuff on my plate I winded down my translation services that I offered through Fiverr and Upwork.
2016 has been all about (taking care of) family.
year end fire

We didn’t travel as much as we would have liked to.

A lovely stay in South Limburg (The Netherlands) with friends, a short break in Liege (Belgium) and Luxembourg, a week with my sister in law and her friend visiting Nancy, Metz, and Strasbourg (France) and Saarbrucken (Germany).
Raymond also visited our son in Manchester (UK).

I did a lot of reading, studying languages and cycling.

I also enjoyed spinning in our gym.
And last but not least I discovered aqua jogging.
Being active in water and enjoying music at the same time.
It’s both healthy and fun.
